I know, it's really strange.
The only other difference I can think of that I have in my setup to both of you is USB C audio out (line out) to an external speaker.
But then, I don't know why that would interfere with a video codec issue.
I'm hoping that it's a bug that'll be fixed in a future update. Other than that I'll have to downgrade to the previous ATV 14 version.
It's all fun and games...
