I should probably detail the usage of the standard more!
We need a uniform way to store data in the metadata slot so wallets can read the name, image, and description easily.

Yeah I like that idea. We were actually wondering if there was going to be a standard especially because we have plans on launching an NFT exchange.
Think it's important to have buy-in on all sides.

Yeah they're meant to be immutable, I've been experimenting with BTFS and I've had a pretty good experience so far.
main issue is lack of popular gateways like IPFS has.
For our avatar service I'm working on I'm using IPFS, and I have an off chain script that watches for new images and it pins them to our VPS.
