• If your child is absent for 3 or more consecutive days, please email me with the reason for the absence so that I can code their attendance accurately.

🏆 ROAD TO QATAR: WORLD SCHOOL GAMES TRIALS 🇶🇦
We are excited to announce the beginning of our Road to Qatar and the trials to select the students who will represent ISM at the World School Games, taking place from 31 March - 4 April 2027.
Trials will take place in swimming, athletics and football. This is an exciting opportunity for students to demonstrate their skills, determination and team spirit while competing for a place with the ISM Lions.

❗️Students planning to go to Qatar have to attend trainings not only on Tuesdays and Wednesdays, but also on Mondays and Thursdays.
All these mentioned days the trainings finish at 16.20.
The schedule is:

Wednesdays - Secondary Athletics
Thursdays - Girls Football (Primary+Secondary)

Выставляют на отреставрированной набережной Парка Горького, где появилось множество новых кафе. Так что можно организовать себе и хлеба, и зрелищ в одном месте.
🖼️Работы великих художников показывают совершенно бесплатно. И не просто показывают, а еще и дополняют всякими развлекательными штуками с ИИ. Придумали это все в МТС.
🖌️Большая часть работ в зале — авторства Шагала. Как минимум, две из них экспонируются в России впервые: «Художник и его двойник», а также «Солнце с красной лошадью». Под каждой литографией есть QR-код. Наводишь камеру — и либо появляются интересные сведения о картине, либо еще и объекты дополненной реальности.
👩🎨Но это не все. Главная точка притяжения — скетчбот. Это робот, который тебя фотографирует, а потом в течение минуты рисует портрет. Чем-то напоминает графику Пикассо.
🪞Также можно посмотреть в «цифровое» зеркало и увидеть в отражении портрет в стиле художников парижской школы. А еще — самому что-нибудь нарисовать, а ИИ это интерпретирует. Все рисуют сердечки и солнышки, а Люба строго пометила пространство надписью «Люба БП».
⏱️ Выставка «АртВиток» от МТС в партнерстве с Парком Горького и Altmans Gallery работает каждый день. Ищите ее прямо напротив причала «Парк Горького — 2».

Photographers will be around the school capturing students at work and at play, so please ensure your child arrives in full school uniform: blazer on, tie straight and top button done up.
What is CAT4?
The Cognitive Abilities Test (CAT4) is an assessment designed to understand how students learn and think best. Rather than testing memorised curriculum content, meaning no revision or preparation is required. It looks at reasoning abilities across four distinct areas:
Verbal reasoning: Thinking with words and language
Quantitative reasoning: Thinking with numbers and numerical relationships
Non-verbal reasoning: Thinking with shapes, diagrams, and patterns
Spatial reasoning: Visualising and manipulating shapes and spaces in 3D
The results help teachers tailor instruction to individual learning styles and allow us to set informed, realistic, and aspirational academic target grades for each Key Stage. The results do not influence report attainment grades. A subsequent parent report will be distributed to all parents later in the year.
What Students Need to Bring
Their school device, fully charged
A pair of headphones (preferably wired)
All school bags and belongings (students will bring all their belongings directly with them to the hall)
Login Details
Students do not need to register or worry about logins in advance. Form tutors will distribute testing codes to students directly on the morning of test day.

⏰ *Punctuality is crucial on Tuesday*. Please ensure your child arrives at school on time. Our first group of students must be registered and seated in the *IGG Hall strictly by 08:40.*
What Students Need to Bring to the Exam Hall:
📱 *A fully charged device*: This is critical for the online testing platform.
🎒 *All their belongings*: Students should take their bags with them to the exam hall.
📚*A reading book or offline activity*: Students must have something silent to do in case they finish the assessment early.
🎧 *Wired Headphones*: The platform provides audio instructions that read the on-screen text aloud. This is highly recommended for students who prefer to hear instructions.
👉 Years 8 to 12: Please bring *wired headphones*.
