O the King Of Messengers, I too yearn for a sign from you
O Beloved of the Almighty, I seek your grace anew.
How long shall I bear this sorrow and pain?
O my Master, cast upon me your merciful gaze again.

How, to satisfy the whims of arrogant emperors,
For ages upon ages, markets of beauties were laid,
How, to indulge their wandering, lustful eyes,
In crimson palaces, blooming beauties were arrayed.

A man will be pledged allegiance to between the Corner (the Black Stone) and the Maqām. None will violate the sanctity of the House except its own people. When they violate its sanctity, then do not ask about the destruction of the Arabs. Then the Abyssinians will come and destroy it with such destruction that it will never be rebuilt thereafter. They are the ones who will extract its treasure.
