🗣Sam Altman says the cost of AI intelligence has dropped 1,000x in 18 months
What used to cost $1,000 on the OpenAI API now costs about $1. Not sure we can achieve another 1,000x cost drop in the next 18 months, but the goal is still to push the cost of intelligence as close to zero as possible.
