🤖 OpenAI just turned Codex into a remote AI operator for your Mac. With the new Computer Use plugin, you can send tasks from your phone and have Codex carry them out on your Mac, even if the computer is locked and the display is asleep. The AI temporarily wakes and unlocks the system in the background, completes the task, then locks everything again when it’s done. If anyone touches the keyboard or mouse, the session instantly shuts down for security. This is a major shift for AI agents. Until now, most assistants needed an active desktop session and constant supervision.
