🤖 ChatGPT just became a lot more personal with Health mode
OpenAI has launched Health mode, allowing ChatGPT to connect with your Apple Health data and medical records to provide answers based on your actual health information, not just general advice.
Users can link Apple Health, One Medical, or Function Health to share blood tests, medications, doctor visits, sleep, workouts, and other health data. ChatGPT can then compare test results over time, explain medical terms, and even recommend allergy-safe restaurants based on your profile.
OpenAI says around 300 million people ask ChatGPT health questions every week, with most conversations starting outside dedicated health chats. Health mode brings that context directly into everyday conversations.
Free users get GPT-5.5 Instant, which can recognize when it’s time to see a real doctor. Paid users get GPT-5.6 Sol, offering deeper analysis and more detailed explanations for complex health questions.
