Hello everyone. First and foremost, I fully support the Metallicus ecosystem, team, and community, so this is not meant as a complaint in any way. Since the GUI upgrade to the Metal Blockchain explorer, I've noticed that the total available delegator stake to my validator has been reduced by almost 60K $METAL. Has anyone else experienced/noticed this? Also, my validator still has 5 months remaining on the current period.

There are scammers here sending private messages as "Rose", so exercise extreme caution.

I may be missing something, but the current Metal Wallet web wallet UI appears to be different from the node name update guide. The guide shows an Address field and a P-Chain selector when signing the message, but I cannot see either option in the current Metal Wallet Sign Message screen. The wallet generates a signature, but the Explorer rejects it. Is there an updated guide or a different current method for updating a validator node name?

I just tried it out, and it works for me in both directions. From webauth to Metal wallet c-chain, cross-chain (c to p, to x, back to c - all within the browser) and back to webauth. Indeed there is still this old bug in the Metal wallet, that you need a small amount (like 0,00x) on every chain. But this bug has been around for a while.

I used it yesterday without problems

That’s not a bug. You need gas because that’s how it is as it’s based on avalanche. There is still an intermittent bug whereby it’s flagging the insufficient funds error and getting stuck on the cross chain transaction - this happens even with funds on every chain.

Yes, I know I need some tokens for gas. But I remember you could previously bridge your full balance from the p chain to the C chain, with the gas fee deducted from the amount, leaving zero tokens behind.

Can we confirm the validator requirements haven't changed since the Fortuna upgrade (v1.13.5)? The metal blockchain whitepaper indicates: > The maximum weight is determined as the lower value between 3 million METAL tokens or 5 times the amount staked by the validator. And, per https://docs.metalblockchain.org/nodes/validate/staking > The maximum weight of a validator (their own stake + stake delegated to them) is the minimum of 3 million METAL and 5 times the amount the validator staked. Since the release and re-skinned explorer.metalblockchain.org, the sum of Delegator Stake and Available to Delegate is 3 times owned stake. Shouldn't maximum_weight = min( 5 * owned_stake, 3000000 ) and available_stake = ( maximum_weight - ( owned_stake + delegator_stake ) )

You're absolutely right in your findings; however, the validator requirements haven't changed, to my knowledge. Since the Metal Blockchain explorer GUI update, the total available to delegate has not been accurately displayed. However, upon reviewing staking options using the WebAuth wallet, accurate numbers of "Available" to delegate are displayed. This requires knowing the unique Node ID of your desired validator, rather than searching by their name.

Thanks for confirming. I've also noticed performance issues on the validator list and detail views, and non-functional sorting. Perhaps the team is already aware and will resolve shortly.
