Stargate Sunset and LayerZero Changes on Metis Andromeda: What You Need to Know
LayerZero Labs' default DVN (Decentralized Verifier Network) and Executor stop serving Metis Andromeda on October 30, 2026. Any OApp or OFT that still relies on them for a Metis pathway will stop verifying and executing messages on that date.
Two changes affect Metis Andromeda this October:
• Oct 23: Stargate support for Metis Andromeda ends. Liquidity providers should withdraw, and LayerZero V1 users should bridge affected assets back to Metis.
• Oct 30: LayerZero Labs’ default DVN and Executor stop serving Metis Andromeda. Developers using LayerZero should migrate or enable their pathways on the new DVNs and Executor.
Most token holders don’t need to do anything. m.USDC, m.USDT, WETH and METIS on Metis Andromeda are unaffected, and the Metis canonical bridge continues to operate normally.
