You can flash it with magisk. That is how I flashed mine. Works good. I am using a gsi with magisk root.

Voltageos have their own microg like google implementation

  Vos have sandboxed playstore from graphenos apkstore combatibility it is mainly for who doesnt want to flash any gapps ,also you can unistall ,battery restrict and edit 99% permissions in it for playstore,playservices

I use the microg version that I marked, the cellphone feels cooler and saves battery usage than the newest cellphone, it feels warm, fortunately I kept it 😅
