The Monetary Policy Committee of the Central Bank of Kenya is expected to hold a sitting today in which it will determine the direction of the Central Bank Rate (CBR). Currently, the CBR is 8.75%, and the Kenya Bankers Association has called for the MPC to hold the policy rate.
