⚠️ NEW IN: Lien finance loses over half a million dollars in defi exploit.
Lien Finance has suffered a significant security breach after an attacker exploited a vulnerability in the protocol's pricing mechanism, resulting in the theft of approximately $542,000 USDC.
The exploit specifically targeted Lien Finance's OTC trading pools on Ethereumgl
By manipulating how the protocol valued deposited assets, the attacker was able to exchange virtually worthless tokens for USDC at artificially inflated prices before draining the available liquidity.
Blockchain investigators have identified the attacker's wallet, where the stolen funds currently remain. At the time of writing, there have been no signs of laundering activity or transfers to privacy services, although the address continues to be monitored.

⚠️ NEW IN: The exploiter behind the $285 million Drift Protocol hack has started laundering the stolen funds, marking the next phase of one of the largest DeFi exploits of 2026.
According to on-chain investigator ZachXBT, he will not be investigating the case, stating that exploits involving nine-figure losses require too many resources to trace effectively. Instead, his efforts will remain focused on smaller cases where recoveries are more achievable.
The Drift exploit, which resulted in approximately $285 million in losses, is believed to have been the product of a highly sophisticated, long-term operation. Security researchers have linked the attack to compromised governance approvals and multisig signers rather than a traditional smart contract vulnerability, with some reports attributing the operation to North Korea's Lazarus Group.
As the stolen assets begin moving through laundering channels, the likelihood of recovering a significant portion of the funds decreases substantially, making blockchain tracing increasingly difficult.

⚠️ NEW IN: AFX Trade Suffers $24M Bridge Hack
AFX Trade has lost approximately $24.15 million in USDC after attackers compromised the bridge’s validator signing keys.
The hackers obtained enough validator signatures to approve a fraudulent withdrawal, then bridged the funds to Ethereum and swapped them for roughly 12,467 ETH.
Importantly, this was not a flaw in Arbitrum or the bridge’s smart contracts. The exploit stemmed from compromised off-chain validator keys used to authorize withdrawals.
