Hello OKX Web3 Community
Please be aware of an ongoing scam tactic involving Telegram impersonators pretending to be OKX admins.
🔍 How the scam works:
👉 The scammer copies the profile name and avatar of an official admin (e.g. “SyahOKX”).
👉 They include the real admin's username in their bio, to make it look legit.
👉 They DM you first and ask you to verify their identity using the bio.
👉 You search the username in the bio, and it matches a real admin — but you’re not verifying them, you're verifying the real admin whose name they stole.
⚠️ This is fake. Do not trust any DM and invited group — even if they look legit.
🛡️ REMEMBER:
✅ OKX Admins will NEVER DM you first or invite you to a private group
✅ Always verify the sender's actual username, not just what’s written in their profile bio
✅ Do NOT share passwords, seed phrases, or funds with anyone claiming to be from OKX
✅ When in doubt, ask in the group — our official admins are always here to help
Let’s stay sharp and keep our community safe together.
If you see anything suspicious, take screenshots and report it to the admins in the general chat immediately. 💪
