Our stare of Pennsylvania is attempting to expand the Pennsylvania Department of Health’s authority over disease investigation, entry into premises, contact tracing, access to medical records, and disease-control measures. The proposed regulations say health officials can enter private premises when necessary for an investigation, contact tracing, or partner services. The proposed text does not expressly require consent, an administrative warrant, a judicial order, or exigent circumstances before entry into a private residence. The new regs would also authorize isolation, surveillance, segregation, quarantine, modified quarantine, and “any other disease control measure” that the Department or local health authority considers appropriate for surveillance, prevention, containment, or mitigation when necessary to protect the public from infectious agents or toxins. Will “any other disease control measure” include forced injections without consent? The scumbags are at it again. All rights would vanish when a health official says the magic words, "communicable disease emergency." The public comment period closed on September 21, 2026, and the Independent Regulatory Review Commission (IRRC) has until October 21, 2026, to issue its comments. The entire review and finalization process could take up to two years.
