Ensure your DNS is functioning correctly by pinging GitHub or Google:
ping raw.githubusercontent.com
0. (Optional) Remove old ishare2 configuration files:
rm -rf /opt/ishare2/ && rm -rf /usr/sbin/ishare2
1. Run the quick one-line installation command:
wget -O /usr/sbin/ishare2 https://raw.githubusercontent.com/ishare2-org/ishare2-cli/main/ishare2 && chmod +x /usr/sbin/ishare2 && ishare2
2. Enjoy ishare2!
Extra notes:
- If you face errors downloading images with ishare2 run:
ishare2 config
Then press enter in all questions to use the default configuration.

📀 Installation instructions - PNetLab v6 BETA release
⚠️ Read the full instructions and important notes before starting the process. After you finish reading them, follow the process step by step.
Step 1
Download the Ubuntu Server 20.04 ISO and install the OS on a VM or bare metal.
Step 2
Run the installation script as root (copy-paste the full thing):
curl -sL https://labhub.eu.org/api/raw/?path=/UNETLAB%20I/upgrades_pnetlab/Focal/install_pnetlab_v6.sh | bash
After the installation script finishes running, reboot the server.
ℹ️ Important notes
- Make sure to enable Virtualization on your system BIOS and make sure your hardware supports nested virtualization.
Check if you meet the requirements by running:
grep -cw vmx /proc/cpuinfo
Check if KVM was installed correctly after the installation script finishes running:
kvm-ok
- When installed on GCP, skip the setup wizard by pressing CTRL + C after the first reboot and if you're tired of having to do that at every login, ask how to disable in this chat.
⚠️ Remember this version is still on beta so you might encounter bugs and unfinished features.

- Smart Bridge.
- Added for QEMU nodes:
- ACPI shutdown.
- Freeze/Unfreeze: Suspends CPU usage, causing the node to appear stopped; unfreezing it restores the normal state.
- Hibernate: Shuts down the node, suspends CPU state, RAM, and DISK; restarting the node brings it back to the previous state before hibernation.
- Can now pause both side links with one click.
- Pause/Unpause all links of node with one click.
- Limit Users Per Number of CPUs and RAM (MB); check in edit user section.
- QEMU 6.0.0, 5.2.0.
- HTML5 SSH CONSOLE autologin if username and password used in Edit node configuration.
- HTML5 SSH CONSOLE supports download upload files directly; just drop the file to the window.
- HTTP, HTTPS, WINBOX, SSH will act like management interface; one click and boom, you can manage the device (Guest must support DHCP for the first NIC).

- Support some of NSO Docker SR_linux (NOKIA) && cEOS (Arista); they are in 'BETA Testing'.
- Juniper vEVO, Juniper vEX Switch templates.
- It can hide some clouds for non-admin users like (NAT & Mgmt Cloud & clouds 1 - 9).

- Sort labs by name.
- Naming of interfaces for some devices.
- Learning-center: normal user can't see startup-config now.
- Learning-center: normal user can't change their password and name login.
- Can capture with HTML5 Wireshark (Inbound Outbound) traffic.
- Admin usage will not get limited anymore.
