I offered a couple of different possibilities. Staggered is one possibility, but I'm leaning towards it happening all at once. Perhaps sometime between 8PM and 12AM EDT.

I understand the hesitancy to make America as too much of the focus, however I think there's good reason for Jesus to use the rapture to send a message Rome, which includes America. The rapture and the Day of the Lord will be the judgment not only for apostate Israel but also for Rome, the 4th beast kingdom, just as the other 3 beast kingdoms were judged in their times. So it would make sense for Jesus to time things such that it will be clear that Rome is being judged for its sin. America is the chief nation of Rome.
America turned 250 years old in the 25th year of the 50th 40-year period since the destruction of Jerusalem and also on the 25th day of the 4th 40-day period of the prophetic year, which began on March 22. The Feast of Trumpets so happens to begin on the 25th anniversary of 9-11. The number 25 is the number symbolizing debt in the scripture. Now, is all of that coincidence? Perhaps, but I don't think so. Looks like Jesus is sending a message that it's time to pay the debt.
I see no reason to be hesitant or sceptical about the imminence of the Lord's soon return. Some of your proposition seems quite reasonable to me - I certainly believe that all countries of the West might be regarded as part of today's Rome. The States might also qualify to be in the running for latter-day Babylon for all its pride, sin and depravity with Hollywood's global horrific influence on morals, greed and wealth. Yes, a prime candidate for God's wrath!
If the Lord chose to use your suggested timing as his 'God-incidence' to trigger the Rapture and the start of the Time of Tribulation, then I along with the majority of Pre-Tribbers will be celebrating and praising His name. My only caveat is I have seen so many of men's well-thought out, well-reasoned dates, come and go. Nothing will persuade me that He is not coming soon - I live expectanly daily but I have learned not to cling to any one particular date!

As always, these are just guesses. In less than 3 weeks, I'll know if they're wrong. Actually, I'll know before then because if there is no apostasy, then there can be no rapture. I think the apostasy may begin this Saturday. If it doesn't and especially if the apostasy doesn't begin anytime before the Feast of Trumpets, then the rapture can't happen on the Feast of Trumpets.

What in particular are you looking for? It might be argued it has long been with us in the form of false churches - Roman and Orthodox, even some Protestant! Plus, the many Cults!

I think it will be an extremely rapid spiritual rebellion of 50% of the existing church. It won't even be debatable that it's happening when it happens.

In my limited experience, I think it has already happened across the broad church and even those of a more Evangelical position who regard themselves as Bible-believing!

I see what you're talking about. The church is definitely declining. I just think that the actually apostasy will be much, much worse and dramatic than what we've already seen.

If I'm wrong, then I'd guess we'd have another 7 years to go based on the shmita cycles.

I think the "apostasy" referred to in 2 Thessalonians 2:3 is a Dominionist spirit to rule the world Now under the Antichrist, claiming that Jesus is not the Messiah but a Messiah is still to come according to Noahide Law (or off with your head!).
For the mystery of lawlessness is already at work; only He who now restrains will do so until He is taken out of the way. - 2 Thessalonians 2:7
The Holy Spirit for the last 2,000 years has been restraining this blasphemy and convicting people of sin ... so the gospel message spoken by the Church can save those who hear it. The Holy Spirit is "taken out of the way" by the Rapture of the Church. The Holy Spirit will still continue to minister during the Tribulation period but in a different way than today.

We have been so conditioned - mainly by other Bible teachers - to believe that the Rapture is immediately followed by the Tribulation - but nowhere does the Bible even hint of this. Coming to understand this truth requires a radical shift of mindset. Without which, we tend to mistakenly think that the Rapture cannot possibly happen just yet because this must happen first, eg. War in Iran or Israel - Or, that - something else must become clear - eg. The Man of Sin or the AC must become obvious, if not actually revealed!
Once we understand that there is nothing to prevent the Rapture from happening today, we will not only feel liberated but also find that we have a renewed sense of urgency to share the gospel. DO WATCH THIS VIDEO!

I am unworthy of the plentiful grace and mercy the Lord has bestowed upon my life. As with us all. Jesus truly is a “friend of sinners.” I think back to my days of unbelief. Even in unbelief, God was good to me. He saved my physical life many times. He led me out of many situations I had no place being in. In times past, I considered this all to be "luck,” but now I see that it was the grace of God. He has been and always will be good. Lord, help me in my unbelief and increase my faith

Amen, His mercy, love, and provision are without bounds. He kept me when I didn't know Him. He heard me when I cried out in despair and saved me. He has faithfully sustained me even when I haven't remained faithful. It seems there is no limit to His love!
