9/24 — British Universities Working With Israel-Linked Arms Giant To Suppress Pro-Palestine Protests: Report Emails show that the universities monitor students' social media, then inform BAE Systems Thirteen British universities held discussions with BAE Systems, Britain's largest arms manufacturer, about suppressing pro-Palestine protests on their campuses, according to a joint investigation by Liberty Investigates and Al Jazeera, published on 24 September. Emails and internal documents obtained in the investigation revealed the universities plotting with the weapons firm to ramp up security against protesting students and present a united front against those demanding they cut ties with the company.
