Pixel FluxI think this is one of the evidences that religions who think magic is real are false
What about a ritual to welcome a local deity, where another entity (a negative entity) sees that path and enters the body instead of the deity? I don't know if it can be considered magic, as it only involves chanting mantras and flowers. And the one who chants the mantras does not use his own supernatural power or wish for a negative energy to enter that body. However, since anything we don't understand is considered magic by some people, I think it is magic too

No, not really. This man was challenging sorcerers from various religions who claim to have the ability to perform supernatural acts, and these acts are understood and studied by them. For example, in Islam, there is the summoning and subjugation of jinn. Muslims believe that this magic is real and forbidden and that practicing it requires disbelief in God because it involves seeking help from Satan. There are also famous books available on sorcery and the summoning of jinn, so it's not about that we (don't understand it) in the sense you are implying.

I mean, the challenge was open to the world but not every individual was aware of it, and I have seen some people who wouldn't even like to do it for a challenge. Even I was asked to delete the video of whatever I had seen that day because the video had captured the mantras. Playing it again will attract nearby entities again. I still doubt and refuse to accept whatever happened. I have always lived ignoring superstition and local beliefs, focusing strictly on core knowledge and hard facts. I also know plenty of people who exploit divine power just for fame and ego. Yet, despite trying to dismiss it, I still struggle to accept what happened. It's just that I don't have any explanation to debunk whatever happened. Even if I call it a psychological reaction, I don't have anything to support my answer, as it's just a far-fetched assumption from what happened. The experience was so jarring that even any explanation feels hard to believe

True but what they did also comes from wisdom or knowledge. The modern scientific method is incredibly powerful for understanding the physical universe. But knowledge is not entitled to be studied in only one way or method. People can gain knowledge or information and use it even without ever studying it from a scientific lens.

Well, I thought about it from a different approach, because ethics is considered among philosophy which relies in logic, and I think the scientific method relies on logic too, so maybe there is a connection

There are books like Shams el Ma'aref is believed by many Muslims if read, you would be afflicted by magic.
P
And to be fair, it's not something I blame Islam on, bec pre islamic arabs most probably thinked that magic is real too, islam just inherited it as it is.
P
If you consider a natural phenomenon that we didn't understand yet to be supernatural, then ok that's a different story
P
but I think of Magicians as people who understand and test what they are doing

Upon that, what happened was with someone I know. Someone who has never shown any psychological weakness and even after the ritual and until today, there has been no sign of any different psychological behavior

relying on logic doesn’t make philosophy and science the same thing though

And in the end the best way to reach conclusions in philosophy or science is through good logic
P
of course science have more than just logic as well as philosophy, and philosophical views can sometimes change due to science as well

you don’t reach scientific conclusions through logic, you do so through observation
