🚀 Dex2RS — Turn Dalvik into Rust, Right on Your Phone
Dex2RS is the next generation of Dex2C. It takes an APK and converts the methods you choose from Dalvik bytecode into Rust, compiles them into native JNI libraries, and patches the dex so those methods run as native code — your logic is no longer sitting in the dex as readable smali.
⚙️ What it actually does
- 🔁 **Dalvik → Rust → native .so** — selected methods are translated to Rust and built with cargo + the Android NDK, then wired back into the app
- Stronger protection than Dex2C2C** — obfuscated names and strings, RegisterNatives registration instead of Java_* exports, and whole-program optimization that strips everything unused
Fast, cross-platform buildsds** — cargo-ndk builds for arm64-v8a, armeabi-v7a, x86, x86_64 from one command
- -f filter.txt — pick exactly which classes/methods to convert
- -p — obfuscate strings and reflection names
- -d — hide converted methods from the library's exports
- -C — deflate the native libs for a smaller download
The generated Rust project is yours too — it's written to disk, readable, and hackable.
