Bitcoin’s largest cluster of short liquidations is sitting near $90K, according to Glassnode.
A move toward the $90,000 level could trigger a wave of short liquidations as leveraged positions are forced to close, potentially adding further buying pressure. 📈
👉 If BTC breaks toward $90K, a short squeeze could accelerate the upside move. 🔥
4 · 683 · 🇯🇵 CITIGROUP: JAPANESE GOVERNMENT BOND YIELDS MAY BE NEARING A PEAK 👀
Citigroup strategist Tomoki Fujiki believes Japanese government bond yields could be approaching their peak, potentially making JGBs increasingly attractive to institutional investors.
According to Citigroup:
• Japan’s potential growth rate has not changed significantly
• If inflation stabilizes around 2%, a reasonable range for the benchmark 10-year JGB yield could be 2.5%–3.0%
• Financial institutions could increase their JGB exposure as Japan’s fiscal-policy outlook becomes clearer
• The Japanese yield curve is expected to gradually flatten as markets continue pricing in potential BOJ rate hikes and bond supply-demand conditions improve
Fujiki noted that “Japanese government bonds are becoming increasingly attractive.”
Citigroup strategists also believe this could mark a potential turning point in the current market trend, which has recently favored value stocks.
Japan’s bond market may be entering a very different phase. 👀

3 · 881 · 🚨 BANK OF AMERICA: BONDS ARE FINALLY ATTRACTIVE AGAIN
Bank of America equity and quantitative strategist Savita Subramanian says bonds are becoming a genuinely competitive alternative to equities for the first time in decades.
With the 10-year U.S. Treasury yield above 5%, BofA’s valuation model suggests the S&P 500’s annualized return over the next 10 years may fail to reach that level.
The key points:
• Investor sentiment toward equities is already elevated, increasing downside vulnerability while limiting room for positive surprises
• Treasuries now offer yields competitive with BofA’s projected long-term equity returns
• The Fed and U.S. Treasury are closely watching the long end of the yield curve
• Demographic changes could keep U.S. rates below the extreme levels seen in the 1970s–80s
• AI-driven productivity could potentially be deflationary, reducing long-term inflation and rate pressure
Subramanian argues that this creates a much more favorable environment for bond allocation, especially if Treasury yields are unlikely to climb toward 6–7%+.
After years of “TINA” — There Is No Alternative to stocks — bonds may finally be a serious alternative again. 👀
