you can use many free tools for seeing such readings.. or you can simple get it from the query itself SELECT * FROM performance_schema.events_statements_summary_by_digest WHERE USER = 'your_user' AND OBJECT_SCHEMA = 'your_schema' ORDER BY SUM_ROWS_SENT DESC;
C
But it didn’t return exact bytes or amount of data read from the schema, it’s only returns rows sent. Can we calculate anything like total data read from the schema by user
Automation Lifesum the rows sent/
SELECT SCHEMA_NAME, USER, SUM(SUM_ROWS_SENT) AS TotalRowsSent FROM performance_schema.events_statements_summary_by_digest WHERE SCHEMA_NAME = 'your_schema' GROUP BY SCHEMA_NAME, USER ORDER BY TotalRowsSent DESC;
A
Automation Lifeusing this value, you can take the average row size.. SELECT AVG_ROW_LENGTH FROM INFORMATION_SCHEMA.TABLES WHERE TABLE_SCHEMA = 'your_schema' calculate as below total_rows_sent * average_row_size ≈ total_bytes_read
these are the options, but consider using some performance tools in workbench, you will get more accurate figures.. the above calculations depends on your DB structure, sometime you need to have your own analysis to getting the required figure.. but yes nothing is impossible. you can get your own such calculation made.
C
Yeah, that’s very much helpful thanks🙏

Any ideas for below thing To enhance our analytical services, we grant customers JDBC/ODBC access to our database, utilizing individual schemas for each customer. Now, we aim to meter the connections per schema, monitoring both data storage and transfer within each specific schema.
ChinnaAny ideas for below thing To enhance our analytical services, we grant customers JDBC/ODBC access to our database, utilizing individual schemas for each customer. Now, we aim to meter the connections per schema, monitoring both data storage and transfer within each specific schema.
Make it simple.. 1. Enable detailed audit logging to capture connection events, queries, and data access for each schema. 2. Analyze logs using tools or scripts to extract relevant metrics like connection counts, query patterns, and data volumes. Go automation, and get all the details in the required dashboard tabular page.

Learning SQL can be a rewarding experience, opening doors to exciting opportunities in data analysis and manipulation. Here's a step-by-step guide to get you started: 1. Understand the Basics: * What is SQL? SQL stands for Structured Query Language. It's a special language used to communicate with databases and manage the data within them. Think of it as a powerful tool for asking questions and retrieving specific information from a structured dataset. [Image of SQL database] * Relational Databases: SQL works with relational databases, where data is organized in tables with rows and columns. Each row represents a record, and each column represents a specific attribute of that record. Understanding this structure is crucial for writing effective SQL queries. 2. Get Comfortable with the Environment: * Choose a Platform: There are various platforms and tools available for learning SQL. Some popular options include: * Online Courses: Platforms like DataCamp, Codecademy, and Coursera offer interactive courses and practice exercises. * Interactive Websites: Websites like SQLBolt and SQL Fiddle provide a free online environment to write and execute queries. * Database Management Software: Download and install software like MySQL or PostgreSQL to set up your own local database for practicing. [Image of SQL platforms] 3. Start with the Fundamentals: * Basic Syntax: Familiarize yourself with the basic building blocks of SQL queries, such as SELECT, FROM, WHERE, and JOIN. These keywords form the foundation of any SQL operation. * Data Types: Understand the different data types used in SQL, such as integers, strings, dates, and booleans. Knowing the appropriate data type for each column is essential for accurate queries. * SELECT Statements: Master the SELECT statement, which is used to retrieve specific data from tables. Practice filtering data using the WHERE clause, sorting results with ORDER BY, and limiting the number of rows with LIMIT. 4. Practice Make
