Telegram has unveiled Serverless for running Telegram bots for free and without the need for a server. This platform is similar to the Cloudflare Worker and Vercel platforms, and instead of the user buying a virtual server and managing it himself, here Telegram takes over the task of managing the server and running the user's bot code in an isolated environment, making the process of developing Telegram bots easier and worry-free. Similar to a normal server, a bot using Telegram's Serverless platform can use various Telegram bot features, have an SQLite-based database, send HTTP, and Telegram automatically manages the bot's resources based on traffic. The bot must be written in JavaScript and allows users to develop and launch their bots with the tgcloud command-line interface. It also has straightforward documentation and AI agents can easily work with it.
This feature is gradually being rolled out, and to get on the waiting list, you can go to the BotFather web app, select a bot, and go to the Serverless section. Currently, each bot requires you to be on the waiting list, and it is not clear how long it will take to activate. Additionally, Telegram has not mentioned the limitations of this platform, so it is possible that in the future, bots with very high traffic will be charged a subscription. You can read the documentation for this feature here. 🔎 telegram 📍 @TechTube
