Blogs like these played a major role in shaping what people accepted as reliable news. Most of the time they were just paid placements, because that's what they have to offer. That is how Shibarium repeatedly gets presented as though it were officially tied to ethereum:0x95ad61b0a150d79219dcf64e1e6cc01f0b64c4ce.
When they repeat a group's narrative for long enough, or claim it's an official "press release" by "SHIB's executives" or their "leader", other news outlets begin repeating it, it gets echoed on Coinbase and Binance feeds. Even those so-called "officials" start sharing their articles with their phony titles as confirmation. They used many alt accounts to push these narratives as well. Eventually they end up being read by big investment firms like
@TRowePrice.
A disclaimer does not erase responsibility when you know your reporting can influence where people put their money. It does not give you a free pass to mislead people or manufacture credibility.
At some point, these blogs should be investigated. Because when misinformation influences investment decisions and causes people to lose money, it is no longer simply a matter of bad reporting.
