try ping relay.lightning.pub in a console and see if dns is resolving / you get packets back

ok it looks like the relay connection is getting blocked by a hung invoice in the sanity checker, we pushed a fix for this already... looks like you're a few patches behind... run the install script again to update pub and it should get past that block and connect to the relay
