Today, I added separate test and live keys, with hashed storage and isolated payments, idempotency, rate limits, and webhooks. Live payments stay blocked until the required switches and real provider support are ready. The fake provider can never be used in live mode. Everything runs in test mode for now. ⏳ Day 23/60 Building SafePay A stuck payment shouldn't wait for someone to remember to check. When SafePay can't settle a payment after retries, it now goes into a review queue. The admin shows each one with a plain-language reason, the merchant, the provider, and how long it's been sitting there. Operators can re-check or clear it in one click.
