We hold that our rights and freedoms are not granted by government, but endowed by God — and what God has given, no group of men has the authority to take away. Like the thirteen colonies before us, we know that united we stand and divided we fall. Torch of Freedom exists not to absorb or command other grassroots organizations, but to unite them — bringing independent conservative groups together around a shared purpose, without asking any of them to give up who they are. We believe the strength of the grassroots movement isn't in one large organization, but in many strong ones acting as one. Torch of Freedom serves as that connective flame — coordinating action, from mass calls to representatives, to elections, so that thousands of separate voices become impossible to ignore. We carry the torch. We don't own it. The flame we carry did not originate with us — it was lit by our Creator and passed down through generations who refused to let it go out.
