It's no secret that full UTasks functionality in topic-based chats is constrained by Telegram API limitations, and we've covered this in detail here and here. ⭐ In practice, though, this Telegram shortcoming can be turned into a powerful feature — and it's precisely this kind of workflow that users consistently share with us, having built a streamlined and well-structured process around it ⤵ You can create tasks using short commands in any group topic — right where they naturally fit into the discussion, while all task notifications are automatically funnelled into a single topic, such as General. ✅The result: task management takes place in one central location, while the classification by topic remains fully intact. To add a comment to a task and update its status, simply use the short /comment command in the notifications topic — all you need on hand is the task number.
