Hey everyone! We’re actively testing UTasks on Max. We know — we know — that a lot of you have mixed feelings about Max, but the product needs testing, and users are waiting. So we’re looking for early adopters. If you’re up for trying it out and sharing your feedback — drop a comment. Don’t want to go public? Message our support chat @UTasks_Support and we’ll sort it out there. Thanks! App | Support | Chat | X

Hey everyone! We've made a small change — blindingly obvious and long overdue, but it took us three whole years to find the glasses that were sitting right under our noses. We renamed both channels and scrapped the (RU) and (ENG) labels, as if you couldn't tell what language you were reading. We're also quietly laying the groundwork for some bigger Telegram changes and building what's shaping up to be a fully-fledged UTasks ecosystem — where you can catch up on updates, manage tasks, and browse guides all in one place without constantly switching between apps. Just a reminder: we run two channels — this one in English and one in Russian. #NEWS App | Support | Chat | X

Hey everyone! We've rolled out Kazakh and Uzbek language support in the app! Our users from neighbouring countries have been eagerly waiting for this update. Now you can switch the language in settings and hit the ground running in your native tongue! And as the Kazakhs say: Шын шеберде мін болмас! #UPDATES UTasks|Qo'llab-quvvatlash|Chat|X

Hey everyone! Telegram just dropped an update — and we jumped on it immediately. Say hello to the /list command, which shows all project tasks as a table right in the chat. Format: /list [filter] [date], where: filter — the filter name used to build the list; date — a specific date or a date range (you can also use the words today and tomorrow). Examples: /list all 22.06.26-25.06.26 /list author today 🟡Handy when you need a quick look at what's in the project without opening the app 🟡 #UPDATES Telegram: we shipped an update WhatsApp: we'll copy it next decade UTasks: /list is already in production App | Support | Chat | X

Hey, friends! Denis here. Last night we rolled out a new version, the one that made me snatch the mic from our SMM and I want to introduce it to you personally. A full-fledged AI assistant is now available in the app! It works both in private messages with the bot and in the general chat. In private messages, just type what you need to do in plain language. In the group chat, you need to start your message with the command /ai For example: /ai show me all tasks assigned to John with a deadline next week The model is limited to working within our app. It can help you find and create tasks in projects and provide guidance on documentation, but it won’t be able to tell you the weather in Paris. For now, this feature is available on all pricing plans, even the free one, with no restrictions. Give it a try and let us know what you’d like to see improved or refined! #FounderSays App | Support | Chat | X

Hey everyone! We've always said that UTasks's biggest advantage is a single window: no switching between apps, no logging into yet another service — all your conversations happen in Telegram, and so do your tasks. But the world moves on, and the workspace is shifting from Telegram to an AI window. Some people run budgets, some generate images, some draft posts, some ship code — one way or another, we're all deeply embedded in AI tools every single day. And UTasks has no intention of falling behind. We'll show you how to set up an MCP server that connects your favorite AI to UTasks — so you can create tasks, leave comments, and manage projects straight from your AI chat, with zero context switching. But first, a quick poll ⤵️

Hey everyone! Thanks to everyone who took part in the poll — Claude's in the lead, and we had a feeling. Dennis Claudeson, naturally, is having his moment — he knew it all along, he knew it all along. We put together a guide on how to connect an MCP server, using Claude as an example. Go check it out, get connected! ➡ #AI #DOC #API Support | Chat | Guide

UTasks AI ASSISTANT Hey everyone, Denis here. Well, it's happened — our full-fledged AI Assistant is finally here! A couple of weeks ago we rolled out the first version, pretty stripped-down, and we've been polishing it ever since. And today I can finally show you the result. You can talk to it right in the chat with the bot, and in group chats through the /ai command. It basically covers almost everything you normally do with tasks: create, edit, find, close, reopen, raise or lower priority, change status, leave a comment, add or remove assignees. And more — the list is long. But here's the best part: all of it works by voice. And across a whole batch of tasks at once. Dictate it in a single message — create three new tasks and fix five existing ones — and it'll figure it out. No problem. We've also built a meeting mode — a genuinely handy thing, read more about it here. In the upcoming posts we'll break everything down in detail and show the typical use cases we tailored the assistant for. But today we just wanted to share the news and kick things off! #FounderSays Support | Chat | Guide

Hey everyone! 🌐 Got a standup? A sync? A team meeting — but can't get everyone on a call?🌐 Run it in the chat instead — turn on Meeting mode and just send messages to the group. UTasks will automatically pull out the action items from the conversation. ➡ To kick off the meeting, send this command in your group chat: /meeting start ▶ Then just chat as you normally would ✔ Once you've covered everything, send: /meeting stop A summary will appear right in the chat: what was decided, who owns what, and any deadlines. Accept each task individually or take the whole list in one tap. ❓ If the meeting was pointless (or things got heated — it happens): /meeting cancel — the meeting is cancelled and nothing is saved ⌛ To check whether Meeting mode is active: /meeting status If the conversation goes quiet for 3 hours or 24 hours pass, the bot will prompt you to wrap up — and clean up after itself. Important! UTasks does not read chat messages by default — this is a deliberate privacy measure. The bot tracks nothing without an explicit command. #AI #UPDATES Support | Chat | Guide

Hey everyone! 🥸 Following up on Denis's series about bringing #AI into UTasks — today we're taking a closer look at a feature that's becoming increasingly relevant in today's world: voice control. Voice input is steadily replacing manual typing — we dictate messages, search for directions by voice, control smart home devices — and UTasks is moving in the same direction. 🎤 UTasks lets you manage tasks by voice, which means you no longer need to remember any special syntax, even a short one. Just dictate a message to the bot the way you'd say it to a colleague: "create a task for Vasya for next Wednesday" — and the bot will figure out who Vasya is in your chat and turn "next Wednesday" into a specific date. 💭 Editing tasks is just as straightforward: you can refer to a task by its number or say "the last one created," and the bot will find the right one. 📣 The bulk creation feature is especially powerful: dictate one long message with 8–10 tasks for different assignees and different dates, and the bot will process the whole thing and display a list with a confirmation button for each item — so you can exclude anything it misunderstood, or send everything to assignees at once! 💭 The same approach works for bulk editing: dictate one message with all your changes at once — wording, assignees, priorities — and UTasks will show a list of proposed changes with confirmation buttons for each item. You can create new tasks and edit existing ones in a single go. ⚡ And the most powerful bulk creation scenario, which saves a serious amount of time — transcribing call recordings*. Record a call (audio or video) in Telegram, forward the recording to the chat, and send the /ai command — the bot will break down the discussion into a task list with all the relevant attributes. #UPDATES * Works without limitations for recordings up to one hour. Hey everyone! We're continuing our series on updates and today's topic is ➡ #API. UTasks now has a public Developer API that lets you connect third-party services and automate your task workflows exactly the way you need. To get started, just generate an API key with /apikey new in the bot and pass it in the header of each request. 🔘The API covers all the essentials: 🔘fetch tasks by project or filter 🔘create a task with assignees and a deadline 🔘update status or priority 🔘add a comment 🔘complete or reopen a task 🔘view the change history 🔘 Projects are covered too: retrieve a list of projects, pull data on a specific project, and get its member list. 📌 All timestamps are stored in UTC, notifications fire the same way they do when tasks are created from the app, and errors come back in the standard ProblemDetails format — nothing out of the ordinary. 💬 For anyone looking to connect UTasks to their AI tool of choice, there's a separate guide on setting up an MCP server. That's all for now, folks! #UPDATES Support | Chat | Guide

CLICK ON THE STATUS AND YOU'LL BE BLOWN AWAY! Hey everyone, Denis here. I couldn't resist, snatched the mic again to tell you about a new feature! We rolled it out to production last night, and it's seriously awesome. First, we moved the task status to the notifications – now it appears right after the number. And second, it’s now a button! You can tap it right in the chat, without opening the app, and select a different status. Changing the status also includes closing the task. That means you can now complete a task by tapping the status field in any chat notification! The integration between Telegram and UTasks has become even more seamless. In addition to the status, we’ve implemented the “Priority” field in the same way, with one difference – it’s not available in every type of notification, but only when creating a task. Objectively, this is a less frequently used field, so we decided not to overcomplicate things. On the one hand, it might seem like a small thing, but on the other, it’s really convenient! Be sure to give it a try. #UPDATES Support | Chat | Guide

Hey everyone! DOCUMENTATION IN RUSSIAN AND ENGLISH Over the years we've tried several documentation platforms, usually on someone from the team's recommendation. We eventually landed on Gramax and moved everything there. Clean, organized, easy to navigate. Go ahead, take a look: everything essential is already covered — tasks, projects, spaces, AI, short commands, API. More content is on the way, along with translations into additional languages. #DOCS Support | Chat | Guide

Hi everyone! #UPDATES TASK DIGEST 🔄 We've rolled out a new feature 🔄 You can now get a digest of your tasks — on demand or on a schedule, e.g. every Monday at 8:00, or on weekdays around lunchtime. 📊 The digest shows all tasks (personal or project-based) with due dates and statuses: done, overdue, upcoming in the next few days — plus a summary per team member: who has how many open and overdue tasks. Command format: /digest — one-time digest /digest on TIME — scheduled auto-digest ➡ All auto-digest options and plan availability — in the documentation. Support | Chat | Guide
