Hey everyone!
We're continuing our series on updates and today's topic is ➡ #API.
UTasks now has a public Developer API that lets you connect third-party services and automate your task workflows exactly the way you need.
To get started, just generate an API key with
/apikey new
in the bot and pass it in the header of each request.
🔘The API covers all the essentials:
🔘fetch tasks by project or filter
🔘create a task with assignees and a deadline
🔘update status or priority
🔘add a comment
🔘complete or reopen a task
🔘view the change history
🔘 Projects are covered too: retrieve a list of projects, pull data on a specific project, and get its member list.
📌 All timestamps are stored in UTC, notifications fire the same way they do when tasks are created from the app, and errors come back in the standard ProblemDetails format — nothing out of the ordinary.
