WINR InternIf there's strong demand for more predictions or newer originals, we'll add more (different ones planned).
Is the weekly payout amount on game share total revenue shared for that week? And then it's distributed based on your % of shares?
DrigzIs the weekly payout amount on game share total revenue shared for that week? And then it's distributed based on your % of shares?
Yes. The weekly payout is the total pool that game paid to all shareholders that week. Your cut is pro-rata: hold 5% of the shares, you get 5% of that week's pool.
DrigzAlso how is the valuation calculated? Is there a doc about it? Like how is the price for a share is calculated?
There's a doc for pricing, sending it. Short version: recent weekly payout averaged over a few weeks, x52 to annualize, then a valuation multiple like a P/E, then a direct buy premium on top. Originals carry a big premium since there's only one of each, creator slots a light one. Divide by 1M shares and convert to WINR at the time averaged price.
DrigzIf a share price is 100 winr and there are 1 million total share then isn't total valuation 100M winr?
And yes, price x 1M = implied valuation. Two notes: that number includes the buy premium, so base earnings value is lower (1.25x premium means divide by 1.25). And pricing is USD anchored, so the WINR valuation moves when WINR price moves even if earnings didn't.

So black Jack's earnings valuation is 277*52= 14,404. But if we do shares * price then it's 144,000,000 that's a difference of 1000x

It's intentional. The price sits well above the pure earnings math because every direct buy burns WINR, and we want each share to burn more. The earnings formula is the anchor, not the final price.
And with WINR this cheap it barely matters in dollars. A whole 1M share game costs almost nothing right now, people are basically picking up games for free. That's why so many are already sold out. Once WINR reprices, these entry prices will look like a gift.
We'll update the docs.

I see your point but if it's this disadvantagious than why would anyone invest in game share / just have lp? Still liquid winr and you get more profit share. At this rate you will never make back your initial deposits from game shares
DrigzThe roi is 0.1%apr plus losing your entire initial deposit.
thats the whole idea before buying into shares of a game. If you think the game will succeed or reach a certain amount of rev that pays you back over time, then you buy.

Yeah but you can achieve the same by just having lp. It has way more apr plus you lose none of your original deposit i don't see any points in gambling my money for a measley 0.1% apr and lose entire initial deposit

I think those 2 shouldnt be compared. You gamble on a game that does single handedly loads of revenue.
If a game you invested shares in does 1m shares revenue and you own 10% shares it. you get 100k urself.
If NRG is 1m rev (goes towards winr lp and is only after creator rev, cashback, shares and affiliate) and you own way less part of that winr lp. you will earn less then with a game.
DrigzVs have 40-50% apr in lp
The deposit isn't lost, it's converted. You hold a fixed piece of a game that pays weekly forever, can't be diluted, can't be bought once sold out.
0.1% assumes today's payout never grows, on a platform that's weeks old. If the game 10x's, your payout 10x's. LP can't give you that, and its principal is WINR anyway, same risk.
And that 40-50% won't hold. LP is a shared pool, every new LP that joins cuts everyone's slice. That APR compresses as the protocol grows, your game share % never does.
Plus we are going to add burns to NGR so LP yield will be lower.
