Aaron FuentesHello there, is there any shortcut to get the IP address being monitored of a device? I want to be able to get it to show it in a Grafana dashboard but it is not a MACRO it's the interface defined at the host level. Any suggestions? I tried with a javascript running return "{HOST.CONN}"; But that

Create a user macro on the host with value HOST.IP (preferably on a template, to apply to all hosts) then query the User Macros from grafana. For example this a Macro we have to know on which AWS Region our ec2 are running.

I must be doing something wrong, I tried using macro {$HOST_IP} and as value HOST.IP {HOST.IP} and {HOST.IP1} and everytime I get that literal value, no IP of the host itself, what am I missing?

I'm not 100% sure, but I think Zabbix macros (like {HOST.IP}) are not substituted when you use them as the value of a user macro (like {$SOMETHING})

    I didn't suggest that. I just said that (as far as I know), the way you're trying to do it, won't work

Yah maybe probably zabbix macros are not available in the users macros

So I finally had to create two items, one zabbix internal with key zabbix[host,discovery,interfaces] and then a dependant item that used jsonpath to retrieve {#IF.CONN} in case it's an IP or DNS value. I thought it would be simpler though, but now it is working! If anyone needs or wants more detais just let me know

hey can any one help me to create a zabbix map with auto topology which exists devices in zabbix, device having too many make and model i have checked he is created the topology map Zabbix Auto Map Generator Using Jessy Pascal Script | Automatically Create Maps in Zabbix but unfortunated some devices showing connected and some not there is no error in completing the graph but still all devices is not showing connected only some are connecting each others 2026-09-19 11:02:02 OK: topology update completed zabbix@zabbix:~$

Release 7.0.31 is now available; in addition to fixes, it introduces pprof generation for Agent 2, enabling the identification of the source of high load or memory consumption (such as memory leaks) in Agent 2 components without the need for patches or recompilation: https://www.zabbix.com/rn/rn7.0.31 Update: Connectors will resolve macro values for the exported data.

You can configure multiple Telegram Connections (Just clone one and configure different). So one Telegram Connections per bot. And create Alerts with different Rules / conditions to use them
