I'M ME ⋆.࿔*:・
Flower Face
Oh, I will stand in the garden's gloom
and burn my flower face,
while smoke ascends in violet plume
and petals hold their place.
The leaves shall cling,
half in my skin,
the tendrils twine and creep;
the stems shall curl
where veins begin
and drink what veins would keep.
My blood shall spill,
a ribbon red,
o'er spider lilies' bed;
the boughs lean close,
the night is dread,
and still the fire is fed.
Oh, shall I flee,
or hold my ground?
Be beauty,
or disgrace?
I ask the fire,
without a sound,
with the light
upon my face.
Oh, I will stand in the garden's gloom
and burn my flower face.
Burn my flower face.
My flower face.
