Custom ROMs are built from the source code (AOSP) provided by Google specifically for respective devices. Custom ROMs can be made from a scratch source or a very stable source. In order to build a custom ROM, there are certain pre-requisite such as High-End Building Server (Jenkins) or PC having very High-End technical specification combined with a very High-Speed internet connection. Whereas, Ports cannot be compiled from the scratch source code. PORTS are simply extracted from the OEMs particular devices such as MIUI, OneUI, OxygenOS, etc, and are being made compatible for a specific device in order to flash and boot it. For instance, OxygenOS 6T PORT for Redmi Note 7 Pro PORTS made for a specific device generally come with compatibility issues, some of the features won't work at all and may harm the device in a long run. Unlike Custom ROM in order to build a PORT, generally, developers do not need a High-End Server and can be made from a Low-End PC.

Here is how to fix Play Integrity and pass MEETS_DEVICE_INTEGRITY (and possibly even MEETS_STRONG_INTEGRITY if the current leaked keybox is valid, you'll see later in that guide). 1. Flash the rooted kernel (KernelSU Next + SUSFS). You can find more information about it by typing #root in the chat. Follow the instructions from the link and install the additional apps and tools mentioned in it. 2. Install Play Integrity Fix [INJECT] by KOWX712, Tricky Store by 5ec1cff, and finally Tricky Addon by KOWX712. 3. In the settings of your ROM, disable any model spoofing or integrity bypass (unlimited Google Photos storage, Google Play Integrity spoof, etc.) 4. Open Play Integrity Fix from the KernelSU module list, then click on Advanced, and use this configuration: Use preview fingerprint [X] Spoof sdk version to Play Store [ ] Spoof Provider [X] Spoof Props [X] Spoof Signature [ ] Debug [ ] Then click on Fetch pif.json. 5. In Tricky Addon, click on Set Security Patch then Get Security Patch, then Save. 6. Install and open the modded Key Attestation app and click on verifiedBootHash (you'll need to scroll down a little bit to see it). Then open Tricky Addon again, click on Set Verified Boot Hash, paste and save. 7. Still in Tricky Addon, click on Set Valid Keybox, if it tells you it can't be found then click on Set AOSP Keybox instead. 8. Click on Select All then Deselect Unnecessary and save. -------- If you still don't pass integrity after that: 1. Install ReZygisk, LSPosed JingMatrix fork, and CorePatch. In LSPosed, enable CorePatch and add the scope System Framework if not selected already. In the CorePatch settings, tick all the options then reboot. 2. Install the modded Play Store, and immediately after that open CorePatch again and untick the option Allow downgrade. Otherwise the original Play Store will silently be installed again, replacing the modded Play Store. 3. Reboot and you should pass at least MEETS_DEVICE_INTEGRITY now. -------- If you
