I'm a software developer from Ethiopia, and honestly, I'm struggling. I've spent years learning to code, graduated with a BSc in IT, built projects, worked with clients, and kept trying to find my place in this industry. I know React, JavaScript, Node.js, Python, and Flask. I've applied for jobs, reached out to people, and tried different approaches. It's been exhausting. I'm not posting this because I want sympathy. I'm posting because I genuinely need an opportunity. I'm available for paid development work immediately , fixing bugs, building frontend features, developing web applications, or helping a team ship a product. Remote or on-site. I honestly didnt thought I'd say this but this is officially my last post for a while. For years now, besides all my nonsense yaps 😅, I’ve been sharing almost every step of my journey here. The things I built, the things I broke, the things I learned, the things I struggled with, and sometimes just whatever was going on in my head. Since day one, this channel somehow became more than just a place where I post what I’m working on. Along the way, I got to meet so many humble and genuinely cool people content creators, developers, and people who don’t even create content but still became part of the journey. I’ve gotten to see different communities, be welcomed into some of them, and share a small part of my life with people I probably would have never met otherwise. And to be honest, I never thought Ato Codes would become this known. It’s still kind of crazy for me to think about sometimes. What started as me simply sharing what I was learning and building somehow reached people I never expected it to reach. And honestly, Jemaw, I’m really grateful for that. Actually, the plan was completely different. After getting my new phone, I was planning to become even more active make more video content, share more of what I’m doing, work more on the content side of Ato Codes, meet more people, create a positive impact and influence, and just be more present. But as a human, I have things that stress me out. And lately, I’ve been dealing with quite a lot of stress and some personal things. I tried to push through it and thought maybe it would pass with time, but it took a turn that I can’t really control anymore. So I came to the conclusion that I need to take some time off from a few things I’ve been doing. That means stepping away from attending events, crowded places, some personal work, creating and spamming content, and honestly, a lot of the things I’ve been constantly keeping myself busy with including Equb Manager.
