MrsNopeIn general I agree about the dad and family vetting but I am not sure as a society in general its the best thing overall. Too many boomers have the wrong sense of what love and marriage look like unfortunately. But hopefully we get back to it.
I met my husband young. My dad was a super good man.
Oh yeah no lol the boomers are a mess. They, generally speaking, cannot be in charge. At this point we’d have to form communities and have based dad friends vetting lol

Jeepers lol boomers..
Yeah I remember telling my father when I was about 12, that I’d like to get married by 26 and have children. And he scoffed, disbelieving that I’d be able to wait that long.
TBH, they’re not responsible for my actions, but that kind of took the fire out of that goal. I trusted my parents. They lead me astray. Again, they’re not responsible for my decisions and actions and all, but bruh lol try to help a little? lol

Limsy .This only works if you come from a healthy household 🙃
Yes of course.
It’s not about perfection. It’s about knowing what it even looks like.
If your father can’t do it because XYZ like he’s a criminal or dead or something, then an uncle, or grandfather, or a friend’s father, etc.
Like, how can anything be good if we don’t even have standards to work towards? 🙏🏻
Limsy .Mine got called a drug dealer because he didn't wanna talk about his job
Why didn’t he want to talk about his job?
