SEPA allows chargebacks for unauthorized transactions up to 13 months, a period vastly exceeding any practical waiting time like 24 hours or 5 days.  Therefore, waiting longer makes no difference regarding fraud risk; the only relevant factor is whether you keep the fiat funds in your account to cover a potential future reversal.

normal suggestion is to release towards the end of the trade period, there is no issue to do that even at the very last minute
