I've commented on this previously, and you can see my comments via the link below. The roadmap is too often used a proxy for ..... I don't know what. The question for me is always "what information are you looking for from the roadmap?" That's a better quality question than simply stating that the roadmap hasn't been updated.
If we're asked a specific question about technical progress, we can answer. But "why hasn't the roadmap been updated?" is typically going to be met with this response.

1- Swap Readiness & Milestones: We are 33 days away from the announced November 1st Token Swap date. What specific technical gates, testnet validation criteria, or release candidates remain before the swap goes live?
2-Baseline for Technical Questions: It has been 60 days since the last major update. To ask meaningful technical questions, the community needs a reliable baseline. A roadmap is not a proxy for speculation; it is the single source of truth for project status.
3-Communication Friction: Expecting community members to track individual code commits or PRs to guess status—rather than keeping the official roadmap updated—creates unnecessary friction and confusion.
Asking why a roadmap is static 33 days before a major network milestone after 60 days of silence is not a generic complaint; it is a direct question about operational readiness.

In all of this, there's only one question: "What specific technical gates, testnet validation criteria, or release candidates remain before the swap goes live?" It's a fair one. We'll get a brief response from the engineering teams and post it here.
The rest doesn't hold up. Paul's told you he updated the roadmap last week and again yesterday, and the team's been in this channel every day. That isn't 60 days of silence. The Holochain roadmap also tracks the protocol, not the migration, so it was never going to answer your first question.
On how we communicate, I disagree, and I won't comment further.
