@uifo39 Over the past few days, @DennyHuang and I have been hosting the current Executive Director of the Linux Foundation’s OpenChain project, and she (she just went to OS summit Korea and Apache COC than come to Taiwan) brought up a very similar idea as well. Maybe we might maintain the co-work calender together?

We should make a one calandar that includes main events (not only FOSS events, such as holidays, elections, etc..)

I feel like Japan OSPN, which we’re in touch with quite often, could be a good place for us to explore doing something together. That way, we could also coordinate better and make it easier to join each other’s events!

I just got an idea, each organizations/people/community maintain their local calandars with any calandar providers that has .ics export feature. Then a single unified org/community/entity/whatever curate them all and make a single subscribed calendar. Like adding musics in playlist. And people can use that one merged calendar. Still I think we can keep discuss about this.

So, for example smaller communities in Taiwan add events to COSCUP. So they don't have to maintain whole calendar. And unified calandar subscribe the COSCUP calandar.
