📣 Econ Wars x WIUT Student Union We wanted to share some news. Econ Wars is starting a partnership with WIUT Student Union. Since March, we've been building this project step by step - video lessons, olympiads, and most recently Case Lab. This partnership is the next step in that process. We can't share all the details yet since things are still being finalized, and we'll be working closely with WIUT student community to plan and run events together going forward. Quick update: We are changing our channel name from Econ Wars to Econopoly. As our projects have grown beyond competitions into policy/economics case studies, research, and broader educational resources, we wanted a name that reflects everything we do. Our next Econopoly event will take place at the Al-Khwarizmi school in Samarkand! 🏫 The event is based on real-life cases, where you can apply your economic knowledge in practice.🚀 How will the event proceed? Question: Teams will be given questions related to political/economic topics (for example: "Should taxes be levied on expected (unrealized) capital gains?"). Task: You choose either the "Yes" or "No" position, conduct research, and prepare your most grounded and realistic arguments. Format: Teams will be divided into groups, present their position, and defend it. Teams that provide the strongest arguments/points will advance to the semi-finals and finals.
