The meaning of Moai seem more wide. Depend on places, cultures, and like you said context. More wide than just 😑.

I'm glad that I stopped using it about 6-7 years ago when I switched to linux and entered the privacy realm.
This just personal opinion.
I think businesses like Meta, Twitter, Linkedin, etc actively taking their times breaking filters.
Reports of Twitter filters (mostly ABP style) keep breaking keep coming on Reddit uBO or Brave Browser for pass 3-4 years. To the extent, ppl say Twitter filters didn't work.
Google or Microsoft become or looks more friendly as filters for its services usually just work or keep working. Only on YT stuff break annually and that usually only when YT change things not really related to filter it self. And I never see filter breaks reports related to Microsoft services for years.
The pattern I see. Companies with one or little products/services are more active (spend money I guess) breaking filters.

With new sot agents, it becomes easy for them to bypass, since code is oss and easily accessible
On Discord, ppl start to talk secretly. Like in Golden Age of Forums. Discord group is more private, but spies could just hang in there.
On TG, some 1d1ots still randomly mentioned something.
It's more stupid to talk on places like Reddit as that place is Indexed by Web Crawler far before AI Data Scrapper exist.
