The problem is only for ppl who linked from github. Except your AdBlocker implement Fallback to gitlab, you stuck momentarily. Well, it's DNS/Host Blocker, unlike Contents Filter, DNS/Host Blocker actually very rare to be updated. And when do Updated, it is not necessarily needed by you. I'm not talking about date/time header update, actual content updates. Some filters actually only change their date/time header, making our tools to update every day without reasons.

Oh wait i just realized for a while i had Cf Warp enabled for this app, and now it didnt get IP blocked from YT?🤷‍♂

Content Filtering/Blocking for very specific banner, popup, javascript, media, many more. Note; filtering & blocking is different. Filtering not necessarily block, the content might still downloaded 1st. That, depend who you ask or what you do, a leak. There are reasons why we could only filter things. Thos like Hagezi are just DNS/Host blocker. Calling or advertise it as Ads Blocker is a misnomer. It block Hosts. www.google.com is a host. You can't do any Kung-fu with Host blockers. What ppl usually ask or complain about are about Content Filtering/Blocking instead. Like, YT or Twitch Video Ads still playing, those can't be blocked with only Hosts Blocker.

It OpenSource. All its projects https://github.com/adblockplus Weird that you never heard AdBlock Plus. History. Long time ago, on Firefox Golden Age, ppl abandoned ABP as regular Firefox Addon because it allow "Allowed Ads". ABP also more weaker than uBO or AdGuard. And one other reason ppl abandoned it also because it's a heavy addon when it is still in XUL form. ABP has libs (EYEO Libs) for AdsBlocking. Many browsers use ABP libs for their Internal AdsBlocker. Named a few; Cromite, Vivaldi, MS Edge.

Its name still famous though. We're easily find its Github Repo. Well, as AdBlocker, it still work. And its OpenSource-ness make it used by many other browser projects. It is just unfortunate historical reasons ppl usually won't even bother to think about it. Like Cromite or Vivaldi, ppl basically just cursing when they see ABP name in those browsers and start religious war.

Good luck lolz Sometimes u can tell these buttons are fake bcz when pressed/hovering (before releasing it) it doesnt react, it was part of image, so the whole image reacts, sometimes some cheeky advert provider will make it so that even pressing down immediately triggers it💀

@falke1380 @ABJ4403 That Hosts Blocking style only work if that Ads or Contents served from other domain isn't it? Example case is YT Video Ads. You can't just Block *.googlevideos.com as it is a 1st party domain where YT videos served. Same with Twitch, but their method to deliver Ads from 1st Party is more smart. It even keep breaking uBO until today. Although funnily, it is FB that manage to anger uBO filter maintainer.
