He is absolutely right — but don’t fall for it. They don’t want real privacy, they want pseudo-privacy. It will look private to regular users while remaining fully transparent to governments and agencies. Ironically, this is good for real privacy projects — the flaws of transparent blockchains are finally becoming obvious.

NEW IRS FORM IN CRYPTO AUDITS DEMANDS FULL HISTORY OF EXCHANGES AND WALLETS A new IRS form being sent in crypto audits lists 100+ platforms including Coinbase, Binance, Kraken, FTX, and Mt. Gox, as well as self custody wallets like MetaMask, Ledger, and Trezor. Recipients must mark YES or NO for each platform and sign the document under penalties of perjury. The form appears designed to map a taxpayer’s entire crypto footprint across exchanges and wallets, potentially going back years. Missing a platform used long ago could raise questions, while disclosing many may open new lines of inquiry. Tax professionals warn the document could carry significant legal risk and advise consulting a crypto tax attorney before signing. https://x.com/BitcoinNewsCom/status/2031338144709197997

What do you think fam Google Chrome secretly downloaded a 4GB AI model onto your device. Without asking.. Without telling you.. It's called weights.bin. It lives deep in your system folders. It powers Gemini Nano - Google's on-device AI. And if you delete it? Chrome re-downloads it automatically. Like nothing happened. Just Google deciding your hard drive is their storage unit. At 1 billion Chrome users - that's 4 BILLION gigabytes of data pushed silently across the internet. The carbon footprint alone equals tens of thousands of cars running for a year. Check your disk right now: 📁 %LOCALAPPDATA%\Google\Chrome\User Data\OptGuideOnDeviceModel To stop it: chrome://flags → disable Optimization Guide On Device Model → restart Chrome → delete the folder.

🇺🇸 The Fed proposed requiring stablecoin issuers to implement KYC The U.S. Federal Reserve, together with other regulators, has presented a draft set of rules that would require licensed stablecoin issuers to implement customer identification procedures (KYC). The requirements were developed under the GENIUS Act, which creates a regulatory framework for stablecoins in the United States. According to the draft, issuers will be required to establish customers’ identities, store identification data, and screen users against government lists of individuals linked to terrorism and other illegal activities. In addition, regulators propose officially classifying companies that issue stablecoins as financial institutions for the purposes of anti-money laundering (AML) and counter-terrorist financing legislation.
