Is there the perspective to store GRD in the Phantom wallet?

Hi everyone, I’m crunching NumberFields@home and my credit is around 2,100. In my client_state.xml I can see a CPID value (d0ecf350128d8424b8769c02d6e8db0f), but in Gridcoin Wallet the Researcher tab still shows CPID as empty and status as NONCRUNCHER. When I try commands like getboincinfo or advertisebeacon in the wallet console, I only get errors. I think this is because I’m running in pool mode. My question: how long does it usually take for the pool beacon to appear on-chain and for the wallet to recognize my CPID? Is there anything else I should check to make sure my beacon gets written to the blockchain?

I created an account on the numberfields@home site and logged into BOINC using the same account; then, I connected to the grcpool pool manager, provided the username and password I was given, and it successfully connected to the grcpool manager.

You need to detach the project so that the pool manager releases it, and then attach the project using the same email and password you used to create your account at numberfields@home. Then when the project is properly attached in your name, you need to manually update it a few times to ensure the CPID is stable. Then you need to go to the wallet and rerun the wizard and select SOLO mode and follow the process to register your beacon.

I see—so, to do pool mining, I'll connect to grcpool, select and save a project there, tell BOINC to synchronize, and then work on the project that comes through?

Yes. And you set the wallet to pool mode. There is no wallet side CPID for pool mining.
