Hack & Trace - Announcements

🍻🎉 WE’RE BACK, BABY! 🎉🍾 Hack and trace is officially back online at the new domain: https://hackntrace.me Passport functionality has been given a facelift, making it a near-identical visual match to the real application. With the new update, you may also choose your vaccine brand as well as where you got it administered. The choice of brands are AstraZeneca, Pfizer and Moderna. It’s worth mentioning something important though because I think there was a bit of a misunderstanding for some people before: The generated QR codes on hack and trace do NOT (currently) do anything. If you scan them with the verifier app, they will not show anything. Please bear that in mind. + Thanks to Picolas for helping with the server migration. Regards, Diesel

Would also like to point out that the error pages are deliberate. They are an alternative to having buttons which just currently do nothing, just in case someone is looking over your shoulder.

This is optional and the replies to this poll are anonymous, but I’m personally curious what the age demographic of the users of this web-app are. Click this link to submit to the anonymous poll: https://xoyondo.com/ap/DafeiHIpO6GvJKa I will share the results back with the group as and when.

🔐 Security Contingency Plan 🔐 If this Telegram channel/account goes down for any reason, we will move announcements to Matrix encrypted decentralised messenger (https://matrix.org). Here is a link for the backup channel (join it ready) >> https://matrix.to/#/%23hnt-invite%3Amatrix.org NOTE: This new channel is a backup and announcements will still resume on this Telegram channel up until we evaluate the need to relocate. Thank you all for your cooperation.

🇦🇺🦘 G’DAY MATES 🦘🇦🇺 Hack and Trace QR scanner usability has now been extended to AUSTRALIA. Simply use the normal QR scanner on a relevant code to ‘check in’ to locations in New South Wales as well as Victoria. And again, don’t forget to save the website to your Home Screen for an easy-access, fullscreen experience. Good luck on prison island!

The domain https://hackntrace.xyz has been seized. Please use alternative links: https://hackntrace.me https://crackntrace.me

Having Some kind of server issue. Hard to tell what it is exactly. Will hopefully be like last time and will be back in the next couple of hours
