🌐 Major Telegram NFT investor did not renew news.ton domain
The news.ton domain was purchased by UQ...U9lt for $100,000 two years ago, but was not renewed today. It is now back on auction for the next 7 days.
🐳 The wallet UQ...U9lt is one of the largest holders of Telegram usernames and other NFTs. Its portfolio includes @nfts, @search, @xxxx, @photo, @exchange, the anonymous number +8888066, and other valuable assets. Its total trading volume exceeds 1.8M $GRAM.
🤔 Could this be another sign that .ton domains may never gain widespread adoption within the Telegram ecosystem? The discussion has gained renewed attention after Telegram applied for the .gram domain extension.

🌀 Bug or feature?
Telegram now appears to allow more than 10 NFT usernames to be linked to a single account.
It is currently unclear whether this is an update or a bug. We were able to link 20 NFTs, after which the error “Sorry you can't activate more 10 usernames” appeared.
One user, @gaffer, managed to link 50 usernames.
Upd: It turns out Telegram has increased the limit to 20 usernames, while the case with @gaffer was a bug.
🤔 Convenient or excessive?

🐳 Holders vs flippers. 1:0
While some resellers hate @elector for the prices he sets on his assets, Elector simply waits.
🛍 @config has just been sold — the top holder bought it three years ago for 500 TON (~$1k).
Six months ago, he listed the username for sale and hasn’t taken any action since.
😳 We contacted the seller — he was surprised by the sale himself. According to him, he had completely forgotten about the listing and doesn’t even follow the market.
Which strategy do you choose?

📣 Did Roxman sell @just?
The news channel of Pavel Durov’s friend, which previously used the @just username, is now called @technodvizh.
Also today, $GRAM ad revenue was withdrawn from channels to the borz.t.me address.
🤭 How much do you think a channel with nearly 3 million subscribers could be worth — and how many of those subscribers do you think are actually real?

#️⃣ How many short words are left?
Over nearly four years of Fragment’s existence, more than 5,500 four-character usernames have been minted. More than half of them are meaningful existing words.
👨💻 We compiled a list of real words that still haven’t been minted and are available on Fragment. The final list contains more 1200 words (words, brands, names ans other categories).
Some examples from the list: @guys @meal @herb @elsa @disk @cruz
🔎 We previously published a list of common dictionary words that are still available on Fragment.
You can find the list of available 4L words in our chat @hobbits.
❗️ The list doesn’t include every word — we’ve almost certainly missed some.
