If I recall correctly that is to adjust the brightness of the display not anything to do with the headlight. I could be wrong but that is my thoughts.

Man, I had exactly the same issue with my V13. Based on what happened to mine, the problem was not the bearing. It was the axle, which came loose from the wheel.
At the time, I contacted INMOTION to explain the situation, and they told me that when this happens, the proper solution is to replace the entire motor.
Here in Brazil, I was only able to fix it because the shop managed to take a motor from a display/demo V13. If it wasn’t for that, my V13 would probably have been a total loss, because INMOTION discontinued the model and it is now extremely hard to find brand-new replacement parts for it. In practice, the only real option ends up being parts from donor wheels.

Man, in my case I hit a road reflector/traffic marker at about 65 km/h and it broke the axle. I almost crashed, and I was recording with my Insta360 when it happened. So yeah, after that I started paying much more attention to these details.
