Current Move: Price made a sharp V-shaped recovery off the 4021.03 demand zone and is testing short-term resistance near 4054.00.
Upside Target (Immediate Resistance Zone):
If price breaks above 4054.00, expect a push toward 4060.00 – 4065.00. This area represents a major structural breakdown point and supply zone where sellers are likely waiting.
Downside Reversal / Pullback Levels:
If rejected at 4055 – 4060, price will likely move back down to test initial support at 4043.30.
A break below 4043.30 opens the path for a retest of 4033.00 and potentially back down toward 4026.00 – 4021.00.
2. Higher Timeframe Context (Daily / 4H)
Broad Range: On higher timeframes, Gold is trading within a larger consolidation band roughly bounded by 4000/4007 on the bottom and 4157 on the top.
Structure: The drop to 4021 served as a liquidity sweep near the bottom of that macro range, which triggered the current relief bounce.
3. Macroeconomic & News Drivers
Softening US Dollar: Recent US inflation and consumer spending data came in cooler than expected. This pulled back the US Dollar index and gave Gold a short-term bullish boost.
Fed Rate Expectations: While easing inflation supports short-term upside, the broader high-interest-rate environment continues to cap long-term rallies. This makes overhead resistance levels around 4065 – 4085 strong capping areas unless further dollar-weakening news emerges.
Expectation
Expect momentum to stretch toward 4060.00 – 4065.00, followed by consolidation or a downward reaction back toward the 4043 – 4035 range as the broader HTF sideways structure holds.
