I receive this message in my browser many times
Welcome to KeeForm
KeeForm requires a Windows application to work. Please download and install it to get started. After installing, restart the browser or the extension to reconnect.

How KeeForm works
KeeForm is triggered from KeePass — not from the browser. You double-click a URL entry in KeePass, and KeeForm opens that page and fills in your username and password automatically. It does not search KeePass for matching credentials.
When everything is connected and ready, the KeeForm badge gets the green light.

D Yes, the browser extension needs a "add-on for Keepass" update. Did you already run the installer https://github.com/keeform/keeform/releases/download/v5.0.2/KeeForm.Installer.v5.0.2.exe ?
The test build is a separate add-on called "KeeForm (Experimental)" with a violet icon, so it installs alongside your normal KeeForm rather than replacing it. Nothing about your existing installation changes, and you can remove the experimental one at any time.
I tested this already with Firefox Multi-Account Containers and Temporary Containers.
1. Open this URL with Firefox at
https://keeform.org/keeform-experimental-5.1.0.xpi
2. The Add-on should be installed automatically. If not, in Firefox: Add-ons and themes (Ctrl+Shift+A) -> the gear icon -> "Install Add-on From File..." -> choose the .xpi.
3. The experimental build needs permission to talk to the KeeForm host program. Open this file in a text editor:
%localappdata%\KeeForm\org.keeform.host.json
Find this part:
"allowed_extensions": [
"[email protected]"
]
and add the experimental id, so it becomes:
"allowed_extensions": [
"[email protected]",
"[email protected]"
]
Save the file and restart Firefox.
4. Disable your normal KeeForm while testing (Add-ons -> KeeForm -> toggle off).
