I understand that most of you know linux/kali and for the ones who don't know Linux: Linux is like Windows or macOS, but it's a free and open-source operating system. It's the underlying system that runs on computers, servers, and many other devices. Different versions of Linux are called "distributions" or "distros." Kali Linux: Kali Linux is a special version (or distribution) of Linux made for people who want to test the security of computer systems. Imagine it like a toolbox full of tools specifically made for finding and fixing security weaknesses in computers and networks. Benefits for Hacking/Pen Testing: 1. Lots of Tools: Kali comes with many tools already installed that help find security problems which means it has all the hacking tools pre-installed. 2. Always Updated: Kali gets regular updates, so the tools are always up-to-date. 3. Flexible: You can change Kali to fit your needs. 4. Portable: You can run Kali from a small device like a USB stick. 5. Guides and Lessons: There are many guides and lessons about how to use Kali.
