F M F yes, I will take you up on your offer. I installed combot?? for help ( maybe in another group, maybe this LFS telegram group) I hand deleted some bots. The last bot, there was a "reply" but no DELETE option. Let me look some more. I have been up since 4am pacific time, logging. So may work on this later this weeked. I need you assistance, Maxim.
Hi everyone,
I'm running into a recurring clipboard issue on GNOME (openSUSE Tumbleweed) when pasting passwords from my password manager into terminal emulators.
The Issue: After working in a terminal session for a while, pasting a password into an SSH prompt suddenly fails and results in a "Permission denied" error. It acts as if the clipboard payload is being altered or appending hidden characters over the course of the session.
The Workaround: Closing and reopening the terminal emulator completely resolves the issue, but it eventually breaks again the longer the new session stays open.
Environment/Scope: This is not isolated to one app; I've reproduced it across multiple terminal emulators, including Ghostty, GNOME Console, and Konsole.
Has anyone encountered this (possibly related to Wayland clipboard synchronization or bracketed paste mode) or have any pointers on a fix?
Thanks!
